Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

It is Christmas Eve and I couldn’t be more happier to be able to write this post for you today! Even though this will be my first Christmas without my mom. I know deep inside that she is still with us watching from heaven and that puts a smile to my face and heart. Christmas is one of my favorite Holidays to celebrate since there is so much joy and happiness that surrounds it. For those that don’t see it that way I ask you to do one little exercise. I want you to smile and stay that way the rest of the day. This smile facial expression will change the way you feel for the rest of the day. If there is something I have learned this year is that we control our own happiness. Don’t let anything or anyone take away your joy because you have control over that. So even though my mother won’t be with me on this special day. I choose to be happy and know that no matter what she will always be there for me even if I cant see her.
