Bamboo Baskets and Bows
Happy Wednesday everyone! We are half way through the week and even with the terrible weather in South Florida it has turned out to be a good week so far.
Thrilled to share this fashion post with you guys since this Bamboo basket bag has been seen all over Instagram. I was obsessed the moment I first laid eyes on this bag and saw that it retailed for over $150 depending on the size. I knew for a fact I didn't want to spend that much money on a basket bag so I decided to do a little more research and when I mean research I mean I decided to go on Amazon. The one place where I know all dreams come true and always find the item I want for less. I didn't think I would find it on Amazon but it is always the first place I look when searching for products.
Thrilled is an understatement when I saw the bag on Amazon and selling for $66 and with prime shipping! I immediately purchased the bag in size large and I will forever cherish this amazing price and bag! Now this isn't the original Cult Gaia bag but it is a Bamboo Handmade handbag exactly like the Cult Gaia one and way cheaper. I knew after purchasing this I had to share this with you all!
For the whole look I wanted some pops of color and thats when this gorgeous dress and earrings came in mind.
The dress is from ASOS's and the earrings are from J.Crew. I also purchased more earrings from J.Crew's website. They have the most stunning pieces and this pair that I am wearing has gorgeous details to it! A must for the summer if you are looking for a statement piece.
For the shoes I wanted to keep it a neutral color but also something very feminine to go with the bow detail on my dress. I decided to wear my Christian Louboutin shoes named Christeriva "Lea Nue" which are my absolute favorites! Shockingly they are very comfortable compared to the other shoes that I have from his line and they are so girly! The bow details and ankles straps remind me of ballerina shoes.
